WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EDT TODAY…

* WHAT…South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* WHERE…Northern Lower Michigan.

* WHEN…Until noon EDT today.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
result.

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

 

Today: A chance of showers and thunderstorms between 2pm and 5pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 5pm. Some of the storms could be severe. Partly sunny, with highs mostly in the lower 80s. Southwest wind between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Tonight: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2am, then showers likely. Patchy fog between 11pm and 3am. Lows mostly in the lower 50s. South wind 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Thursday: A chance of showers before 8am, then a chance of showers after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with highs mainly in the upper 60s. West wind between 5 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
